During my random blog-wandering the other day, I found one of my new favorite artists! These lovely flower paintings are by a South Carolina artist, Lulie Wallace. All I can say is one day I hope to own one for myself! 

I was running a bit late this morning, but as I beginning my long trek to work something glorious caught my eye. A brand new Chik-Fil-A being built, oh maaybbe 0.1, 0.2 miles from my apartment? Almost within walking distance if you didn't have to cross a major highway. The previous closest Chik-Fil-A was 1.2 miles, and already a go-to in our household, so I of course immediately called my roommate to tell her the good news. She was overjoyed (I have the best roomies) and she BRILLIANTLY remembered that the first 100 people at a Chik-Fil-A opening get free Chik for a year... so you may or may not be able to find us camping out there (depending on the opening date and how cold it is). However, Libby just bought a puffer coat and, if need be,  taking a day of PTO for this is a worthwhile investment, right?

So I started a blog once before and how many posts did I make? One. If this one makes it to two, which I'm expecting it will, I'll be home free. I don't really know what I'll be blogging about because I'm not one to write about every little thing I'm doing and then share that with the world... but blogging still appeals to me and I have a feeling my posts will be about random thoughts and things I like.
